With these homemade treats, there’s no need to go out and buy expensive chocolates! Along with Chocolate Covered Cheesecake Bites, they’re a popular sweet treat that’s hard to resist! They’re also great as Valentine’s Day gifts with the red and white color combination.
All you need is some baking chocolate and fillings. We’ve suggested swedish berries, marshmallows, oreos, peanut butter cups and almonds, but you can use whatever you like. The decorating gels create a special look if you are planning to give them as gifts.
Count on a half hour to make these, plus an hour in the freezer. The only special equipment is an ice cube tray, which hopefully you have in your freezer! If you’re making them ahead, just store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week.

Why last only a week! Chocolate lasts a long time. What is your reasoning for saying this. The last upto a week in fridge
Hi Lynn, Thanks for your question. Chocolate absorbs fridge odors and can deteriorate too, so best to freeze in an airtight container if storing more than a week.
Do you have to spray the tray eith nonstick spray before putting in chocolate
Hi Lana, No need to spray! Just wait a few minutes when you take the tray out of the freezer and the chocolates will come out easily. Enjoy 🙂
