They are essentially chocolate cake mix cookies with Rolo candies inside!
- Preheat oven to 350 °F: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the dough: Mix together the cake mix, eggs and oil.
- Roll the dough into 20 balls: scoop out a small amount of dough and roll into a ball shape. Repeat for the rest.
- Stuff a Rolo into each ball: fill the Rolo Candy into the center and folding in to cover completely.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes: bake until the cookies are puffed up. Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar.

Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix, your favorite mix (I use devil’s food cake mix)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 package Rolo candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C): Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the dough: Mix together the cake mix, eggs, and oil. (Note that you need to follow the ingredients and instructions here instead of the one from your box package. The dough will be much thicker than the regular cake batter.)
- Roll the dough into 20 balls: scoop out a small piece of batter and use your hand to roll it into a large ball shape. Repeat and finish the rest.
- Stuff a Rolo into each ball: Unwrap a Rolo candy and fill it into the center of a ball. Then fold in to cover. Repeat and use up all the cake mix cookie dough.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes: bake until the cookies are puffed up. Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar.

I’m very disappointed with these cookies. I can barely taste the caramel, let alone see it oozing out of the cookie like the pictures show. It’s as if the caramel has disappeared. I baked them at 350 for 10 min. Anyone else have this problem?
