Pizza Sub Sandwiches

A quick oven baked pizza sub for a simple lunch or your next game day party

Servings: 12 servings


  • 6 9-inch bread buns, halved
  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 lb deli ham, sliced
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 lb sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • 3/4 cup mild banana pepper rings
  • 6 ounces sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 lb sliced salami
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Preheat oven to 400oF.
  • Slice buns in half and add sausage, ham, pizza sauce, cheese, onion, banana pepper rings, pepperoni and finally salami.
  • Season with salt and pepper, and replace the bun tops.
  • Wrap each bun in aluminum foil and place on baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes.
  • Slice sandwiches in half. Serve and enjoy!
