Donut Fries 3 Ways

These Donut Fries done in three different ways: Vanilla Glazed, Chocolate Covered and Cinnamon Sugar with Cream Cheese. Hint: you should be drooling by now…!
For the recipe, we start with a can of refrigerated biscuit dough from your grocery store. For the toppings, you can use the ones suggested in the recipe below or make your own variations!

Donut Fries 3 Ways
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 quart vegetable oil
Vanilla-glazed
- ½ cup confectioners sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- ¼ cup sprinkles
Chocolate-covered
- ¼ cup chopped almonds
- ½ cup milk chocolate, melted
Cinnamon-sugar with cream cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ¼ cup cinnamon sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- tsp ½vanilla
- cup ¼butter, melted
- cup ¼cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- Remove the biscuits from the can and roll out flat to about 1/2 inch thick. Slice the biscuits into thin strips.
- Prepare a medium saucepan or deep fryer with 2 inches of oil and heat to 375 F.
- Carefully place 4-5 strips into the hot oil and fry for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove to paper-towel-lined plates to cool.
Vanilla glazed
- In a medium bowl, mix confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla together; dip fries in about halfway and coat with sprinkles.
Chocolate covered
- In a medium bowl, add chocolate and microwave for 30 seconds to melt; mix and top with almonds.
Cinnamon-sugar with cream cheese
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla together and then slowly add in sugar; pipe into center using a pastry bag or straw. Brush lightly with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
