Buffalo Chicken Wonton Cups

OMG where to start with these yummy buffalo chicken wonton cups appetizers? Is it the buffalo flavor, the blue cheese topping, or tailgate parties for football season. The answer of course is all of the above!
These cups are mouthwateringly delicious and festive. Game On!
These cups are a great way to celebrate at a football party. They fit right in with chips, dips, hot dogs and other Big Game appetizers. Plan on 1-2 cups per guest.
This is also a great way to use up leftover chicken in the fridge! You need about 1 1/2 cups of cooked chicken, and it can be white meat, dark meat or any combination you happen to have on hand.
To make these cups, you’ll need a 12-cup muffin tin like this one (or two 12-cups tins). You’ll also need wonton wrappers that you can find at the supermarket. The rest is simple ingredients like shredded cheese, cream cheese, buffalo sauce and ranch sauce. Watch our quick video tutorial on how to make them:
Buffalo Chicken Wonton Cups
Ingredients
- 8 ounce package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ºF. Spray a muffin pan lightly with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing with a mixer or wooden spoon. Mix in chicken and ¾ cup of cheese.
- Place a wonton wrapper to a muffin cup and add a spoonful of batter. Put on a second wrapper followed by another spoonful of batter. Add pinches of cheddar and blue cheese.
- Repeat for remaining cups until batter is finished.
- Bake for 18 min until browned slightly. Serve and enjoy!
