- 16 oz chocolate chips dark, white or milk chocolate
Fillings (optional)
- almonds slivered or chopped
- coconut flakes or shredded
- pomegranate arils
Put the chocolate chips into a microwaveable bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
Drizzle the melted chocolate into each ice cube mold until half full.
Add the fillings on top of the chocolate to suit your taste. Only add a few pieces to the middle of each mold. Then spoon the remaining melted chocolate on top to cover.
Freeze for 1 to 2 hours (or alternatively, you can chill for 4 hours).
Invert the ice cube tray on a cutting board or work surface. Rap it several times to unmold, banging with a mug or the bottom of a glass if needed. If they don't unmold, wait 10 minutes to warm slightly and then try again.
- Make Ahead: These chocolates will keep for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container in a cool place. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months in a resealable plastic bag.
