French Toast Cannoli Rollups
A new way to eat french toast for breakfast

- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar optional
- 8 slices Bread
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp butter
- fresh berries for serving optional
In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chocolate chips and powdered sugar. Stir until combined.
Cut the crusts off your slices of bread and flatten with a rolling pin.
Take about a tablespoon worth of your filling and spread it onto the bread. Repeat for all slices.
In a separate bowl whisk together egg, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
Roll up each slice of bread and dip into the egg mixture.
Place a frying pan on medium-high heat. Add butter and then rollups. Cook several minutes until brown on all sides.
Remove rollups to a plate and dust with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
