Football Cheese Dip Bread

  • 1 loaf bread oval-shaped
  • 1 lb grated white cheese e.g. mozzarella, Havarti, jack, cheddar
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning or preferred spice
  • salt &pepper to taste
  • dipping garnishes: carrots celery, olives, nuts etc. (optional)


  • Preheat oven to 400° F. Set aside two 18-inch sheets of foil.
  • Carve out middle of bread loaf according to video. Take bread pieces and cut into dipping-style pieces if needed.
  • Place bread loaf and pieces on one piece of foil. In a small bowl, whisk together oil, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Brush all pieces of bread.
  • Place second piece of foil on top, and pinch edges together with bottom foil to seal up into a package.
  • Bake for 25 min, and in the meantime prepare desired garnishes.
  • Remove from oven to a platter. Serve immediately and enjoy!
