- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- 1 8-oz package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3 teaspoons milk
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest until well blended.
Unroll crescent roll dough to form a large rectangle. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly on top.
Starting on long edge, roll up dough and pinch the edge to seal. Then slice into a dozen pieces using a sharp knife.
Place pieces on prepared baking sheet in a circle, overlapping slightly. Bake 18 minutes or until golden.
Meanwhile prepare icing by whisking powdered sugar and milk together in a small bowl. Drizzle over warm crescent ring. Serve and enjoy!
